Scorpio New Moon - Your Shadow is Not Your Enemy
November 20, 2025 – 06:48 Lisbon • November 19, 10:48 pm Pacific • November 20, 01:48 am Eastern
There is a particular silence that belongs only to a Scorpio New Moon… a silence that feels alive, breathing, watching. A silence that doesn’t arrive to soothe, but to beckon. The kind of quiet where you hear your own soul walk across old ash. Where you realize the dark is not empty, but full of memory, of longing, of what you buried to survive.
This New Moon in Scorpio opens a door behind your ribs: not a polite door, but a door that has waited years for you to stop pretending you didn’t know it was there.
The ruler of this moon, Pluto at 1 degree Aquarius, stands like a sentinel at the threshold.. ancient, future-bound, electric. This degree is the first breath of a new epoch, and yet Pluto carries every graveyard it’s ever walked through. Under this moon, Pluto whispers: You don’t need to fear what feels immense. You only need to stop running from what is already yours.
And as Pluto calls, Mercury retrograde enters Scorpio today, sliding backwards into the underworld like a diver returning to unfinished business. Mercury is holding a dim lantern, illuminating language you thought you lost and conversations you weren’t ready to have, maybe deep truths you have touched but have not named.
And this Mercury doesn’t come alone .. it arrives in opposition to Uranus, delivering truth as revelation, rupture or epiphany. Sparks in the dark. Lightning in the cave.
But Lightning isn’t cruel. Lightning clarifies. And as Mercury trines Neptune, it does so with grace.. the grace of a soul remembering what it once promised itself.
And then there is Venus in Scorpio, trining the North Node in Pisces.. a cosmic reminder that devotion is the path forward and that the medicine you carry inside your wounds is not ornamental; it is directional.
My personal homecoming through the Underworld ~The Scorpio Season and especially the balsamic Moon over the past days has felt like my soul is guiding me home through the darkness, scary, wonderful and also magical.
My natal Moon sits in Scorpio, fused to Jupiter, in my second house.. the house of worth, belonging, lineage, nourishment, survival, power. The house where I learned what it costs to be alive, and what it costs to pretend I didn’t feel everything.
This past season has felt like excavation.. old memory, ancestral ache, cracks in the emotional architecture that I once plastered over to keep functioning. It’s been a reopening of wounds I thought I had already healed, only to discover they weren’t asking to be “healed”… they were asking to be held. Fully. Fiercely. Tenderly.
Scorpio isn’t content with intellectual closure. Scorpio wants the body to remember and our soul to choose itself.
I was watching Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein last night.. God, it landed with bone-deep precision. The tender monstrosity. The sacred error. The way the creature, abandoned and misunderstood, becomes a mirror for every part of us we exiled because someone once told us it was too much, too human, too inconvenient.
There was something holy in seeing a creature stitched from death become the one holding the most life.
This is Scorpio’s gospel: The parts of you that feel monstrous are usually the ones that were most unloved. Your shadow is not your enemy, it is your orphan child. Your shadow does not want punishment, it wants return.
This Moon says, Go get your children. The rage-child, the shame-child, the hungry child, the abandoned child. They are not ruins.. they are youremissaries..They are not curses.. they are compass points. And yes.. going toward them is courageous beyond measure. Scorpio courage is not loud. It is the courage of sinking deeper instead of running, of touching the wound without flinching…and the courage of letting your soul come home.
Under this New Moon, death is not a threat.. it is an archetype. Death is transition, restoration. Death is what happens when the soul outgrows its cage. Scorpio holds the human condition in both hands, the unbearable and the divine, and says: You aren’t here to be unscarred. You are here to be transformed.
And this is the sacred paradox: The more you love your shadow, the more it transforms into wisdom and light. The more we sit with the wound, the more it becomes our doorway. The more you surrender to the truth, the more liberated you become.
This Moon asks you to stop negotiating your light with your darkness.. stop treating them like enemies who need a treaty. They are the same river, flowing in opposite directions, toward the same source. You are immense enough to carry both.
You are seed and abyss. You are the slow river that knows where the dark opens to light. Plant where the soil has teeth. Tend where the wounds remember sunlight. This New Moon in Scorpio gives you the authority to bury what has been a burden and to guard what is newly blooming. Listen for the small, steady drum inside you.. that is the yes that will outlast noise.
Love you xx
Inese
Oracle Transmission
You rise like the soil after rain, dark and trembling with new life.
You are the echo of every ancestor who refused to die in spirit, even when the world demanded it.
You are the altar and the offering, the grief and the birth cry.
You are the keeper of the forbidden garden.. the one where nothing grows unless it is honest.
In this moonlit dark, a voice older than your bones whispers: Come.
Come to the place where your discarded selves are gathering.
Come to the place where the wounds you swallowed have learned to speak.
Come to the place where your power is not a weapon but a pulse.
Come to the place where your shadow sits on the floor, holding out its hands.
It has been waiting for you to recognize your own face.
What you have feared is begging to serve you.
What you have buried is ready to bloom.
What you have called “too much” is the exact part of you that will lead your future.
Let the ashes keep their shape… you no longer need to rise clean.
Rise real.
Rise raw.
Rise with every version of yourself held in your arms like beloved children.
Tonight, the dark does not swallow you.
It crowns you.
It names you.
It returns you to yourself.
Practical Guidance for This New Moon
1. The Ritual of Return
Write the names of your “shadow children”, the parts of you you’ve exiled, one by one.
Hold each name to your heart. Whisper:
I see you. You belong to me. Come home.
Then fold the paper and place it under a stone or crystal overnight.
2. The Truth Invocation
Light a candle. Speak aloud the truth you’ve been circling.
One sentence. Clear. Unapologetic.
Let your voice be your initiation.
3. Resource Reclamation
Review one financial, emotional, or energetic agreement.
Ask: Where have I abandoned myself here?
Make one small shift toward integrity.. one phone call, one boundary, one reallocation.
4. Somatic Descent
Sit in darkness for three minutes.
Breathe into your pelvis, hips, belly.
Let sound move. Let emotion heat.
Place your hand on your chest and whisper:
I do not fear my depth.
5. A Vow for the Next 28 Days
Choose one vow for your rebirth cycle:
• I vow to honor my truth before my performance.
• I vow to protect my energy like sacred land.
• I vow to meet my shadow with compassion, not fear.
• I vow to rise with my whole self, not fragments.
