Sagittarius Season - Where the Underworld Lets Go and Your Fire Unfolds Into the Horizon

Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a vast mythic plain.. the scorched, darkened terrain of Scorpio behind you, ember-lit and humming with the secrets you’ve claimed. And ahead, the horizon trembles as a great Centaur emerges: bow slung over its shoulder, mane wind-tangled, eyes ancient with knowing. It kneels.. not in reverence, but in recognition.. offering you a torch carved from bone and starlight. This is the Torch of the Wanderer, lit only after a soul has survived the descent and returned carrying truth. The Centaur does not speak; it simply turns toward the wide-open expanse, inviting you to walk beside it. Not to follow blindly, not to lead recklessly, but to co-create destiny stride by stride. The myth is not separate from you. The myth is you.

There is a warmth moving through your chest as the Sun steps into Sagittarius..  a loosened stitch in the fabric of winter, a sudden map unfurling where lines had been folded shut. And because we’re crossing this threshold straight out of Scorpio season, everything feels sharper, cleaner and almost shockingly honest. You have spent weeks in the deep cavern, dissolving what was false.. sitting with what was unavoidably true. Scorpio season strips our psyche down to its bones.. it burns away timidity, illusions, emotional debris. You walked through that alchemy with courage, and you didn’t exit empty-handed. Now you are carrying insight, power, a deeper self-respect, and a clearer emotional compass.

Now the Sun enters Sagittarius and suddenly the tunnel has an exit. Suddenly your inner world wants air, sky, movement. The psychic intensity softens into vision. The transformation you just endured becomes fuel instead of weight.

Sagittarius season is where meaning returns to the bloodstream. This is the shift from excavation to expansion, from shadow-work to soul-questing. Where Scorpio asks: What must die? Sagittarius asks: What wants to live?

Where Scorpio reveals the truth, Sagittarius gives it direction. And this year, the story deepens, because the ruler of Sagittarius - Jupiter - has stationed retrograde in Cancer. This is a profound mythic layering.

Jupiter retrograde in Cancer pulls the expansion inward first. It asks you to anchor possibility not in future fantasies but in steady emotional roots. It invites you to explore belonging, nourishment, lineage, memory, the ancestral waters inside you. Before you launch toward the horizon, this Jupiter wants you to check the compass of your heart. So we enter Sagittarius season with a very particular flavor: inner expansion first, outer expansion next, inner truth before outer path, emotional coherence as the prerequisite for spiritual bravery.

It’s deeply stabilizing. It is also deeply tender. Sagittarius, archetypally, is the Centaur mid-stride - half instinct, half intellect - raising its bow toward a distant truth it can feel before it sees. It embodies the union of wildness and wisdom. With Jupiter retrograde, that arrow points inward before it flies outward. You are refining your aim. You’re listening for the truth beneath the truth. You’re reconnecting to a part of yourself that has always known where you’re meant to go — even when life’s noise drowned it out.

You might feel a renewed hunger for meaning, craving for learning, teaching, or spiritual exploration, a sudden ability to laugh again,  restlessness with anything small, dishonest, or emotionally unsafe, a desire to travel, stretch, risk, tell the truth boldly.. need to tend your emotional home-base before leaping forward

If you have Sagittarius or mutable energy activated in your chart, expect ignition. If Sagittarius rules a house linked to work, relationships, home, or identity, that area will ask you to choose honesty over habit, vision over fear, expansion over stagnation.

But again..  Jupiter retrograde in Cancer adds the missing wisdom: You cannot build a bigger life without a softer interior or aim your arrow without anchoring your heart. You cannot widen your world without nourishing your inner world. This is sacred recalibration.
