Gemini New Moon - The Program runs deep but so does your Power to Choose.
A New Moon in Gemini at the crossroads of timelines, with Uranus rewriting the mind and the Nodes calling the soul home
There is a moment I feel our souls recognise.. the moment when two versions of yourself are standing in the same room, and you have to choose which one gets to speak first. One holds the story you were handed, the role you learned to play and language you inherited from everyone who shaped you. The other holds something rawer and stranger, a voice that does not quite fit the old containers and deep knowing that keeps surfacing even when you try to file it away under not yetor I’m not sure I trust this.
That moment is here. This New Moon in Gemini at 24°02’, a Supermoon.. this is a reset at the level of mind, language, perception, and the stories we have been living inside. And because Uranus, freshly arrived in Gemini, is squaring the Nodal Axis from inside the same sign as this lunation, the reset is structural. The timelines are shifting. Old ones are collapsing under their own weight, and new ones are becoming available, real and reachable. This is the cosmology we are living inside right now.
Gemini is the Messenger and the sacred storyteller who understands that reality is always at least two things at once. Where other signs seek singular truth, Gemini seeks the conversation between truths. I feel this sign deeply, because Gemini knows that the map and the territory are never quite the same, meaning lives in the space between what is said and what is heard. Our the mind is one of the most powerful portals a human being carries. The shadow of Gemini is fragmentation, restlessness, the butterfly that lands nowhere long enough to be changed by it. The gift, the evolutionary gift, is this: Gemini can hold multiple realities at once and use language to build bridges between them. In an era of collapsing consensus, that is a revolutionary capacity, and it is ours to use.
The Twins as archetype carry carry the story of the soul that has lived more than one version of itself and knows how to integrate rather than split. One twin looks back, one looks forward. This New Moon asks which direction we have been orienting ourselves, and whether it is time to shift.
Uranus is the Awakener, the Rebel, the Lightning Bolt of consciousness. In mythology, Uranus is the primordial sky god, boundless and electric, the force that breaks open what has calcified and exposes what was always underneath. When Uranus moves into a new sign, which it does every seven years, it rewrites the rules of that sign’s domain entirely. Uranus entered Gemini for good recently, and what it is rewriting is the architecture of mind itself: how we think and communicate, how we process information and understand what is real. The old Geminian constructs and inherited mental loops we have been living inside, are being dismantled. Sometimes gently, often suddenly and permanently.
The Nodal Axis is the soul’s compass, and I return to it again and again because I find it to be one of the most honest mirrors in astrology. The transiting North Node in Pisces points toward our destination: surrender, spiritual trust, dissolution of the ego’s grip and our capacity to feel the whole rather than only the parts. The South Node in Virgomarks what we are releasing: the hyper-analysis, perfectionism, our need to fix and categorize and manage our lived experience rather than live it. Together they form a teaching about the relationship between mind and mystery.
Uranus is squaring both nodes, from inside Gemini - territory of mind, story and language, it was exact on June 12 and still crackling through every hour of this New Moon. I feel this tension in my own thinking and conversations I am having, in the way old certainties are softening whether I invited them to or not, and I imagine you are feeling it too.
Chiron at the Threshold. There is one more presence at this table, and I feel we cannot move forward without naming it... Chiron at 29° Aries, the anaretic degree, the last breath of a sign before it crosses into something new. The anaretic degree is a threshold degree. 29° carries the full accumulated weight of everything a planet has moved through in a sign, all the lessons and unresolved material, all the wisdom earned and the wounds still tender, compressed into one final point of intensity before the crossing. Chiron has been in Aries since 2018, moving through the territory of our identity wounds, the deep places where we learned to doubt our right to exist as we are, lead, to want things and take up space without apologising for it. Eight years of that healing journey, and here we are at 29°... the very edge.
Chiron is the Wounded Healer, and in Aries the wound has always been personal. It lives in the question of whether we are enough and are allowed to be first. This is about weather our sacred desire and fire..our instinct to act is trustworthy or dangerous. So many of us have spent these years quietly renegotiating our relationship with courage, self-assertion, with the simple and revolutionary act of choosing ourselves. I feel this in my own life, and I see it in the people I work with, the way this wound runs deep and the healing has asked so much of us.
At 29°, nothing is casual. unfinished business surfaces. The wound that has been almost healed shows us one more layer, and I believe this is a gift rather than a setback. Uranus squaring the Nodes, Gemini rewriting our inner narrative, and Chiron at the anaretic degree of Aries are all pointing in the same direction: finish what you started with yourself. Take the last step in the story where you learned to trust your own instincts. Let the old identity wound have its final say, hear it fully, and then let the New Moon seed something that no longer needs that wound as its foundation. Because Chiron is preparing to move into Taurus... and when it does, the work of embodiment begins. But we do not get to carry the Aries wound unexamined into that new chapter. This New Moon is offering us the space to complete it and honour how far we have come, then cross the threshold with a little more wholeness than we arrived with.
The Voice That Will Not Be Hushed - There is something else in this sky I cannot pass over, because I feel it too strongly, and I think you will recognise it. Black Moon Lilith sits at 19°–20° Sagittarius opposite this New Moon, and she has been building toward this confrontation for months. She entered Sagittarius in December 2025, and she has been moving through the territory of belief, of borrowed philosophy, of all the grand and sweeping truths we inherited and never fully questioned... until now.
Black Moon Lilith is the part of us that was exiled. She is the voice that was told it was too much, too wild, too honest, too inconvenient for the systems and relationships and narratives that needed us smaller. In
Sagittarius, that exile has been specifically around truth, around our right to follow our own philosophical north star rather than the one handed to us by culture, religion, family, or any authority that decided it knew better than our own soul. She is the seeker who was told to stop seeking. The visionary who was told her vision was dangerous. The woman who asked too many questions and was given silence as the answer.
And at this New Moon, she is sitting directly across the sky from the Sun and Moon in Gemini, arms open, or perhaps arms crossed, depending on how long she has been waiting.
An opposition is a confrontation and a completion. Two forces facing each other across the full diameter of the chart, each asking the other to be seen. Gemini wants to communicate, to find the words, to build the bridge. Lilith in Sagittariuswants the truth, the whole truth, the raw unfiltered version of it, with none of the softening we have been applying to keep the peace. Together they are asking us: what have we been carrying in silence? What sentence have we swallowed so many times it has almost become invisible? What knowing, what belief, what furious or tender or aching truth has been living in the body, waiting for language to catch up with it?
I feel this personally. There are things we know that we have not yet said, to ourselves first, and then perhaps to others. Lilith opposite this New Moon is the pressure that makes the unsaid want out. And because Gemini is the sign of the Word, of the Messenger, of language as portal, this lunation is offering us the precise vehicle to finally give that knowing a voice.
This is where the Uranus-square-Nodes energy and Lilith meet in the most electric way: the old timeline includes the silenced version of ourselves, the one who edited her truth into something more palatable, who chose harmony over honesty, who agreed when she meant to refuse, or stayed when she already knew it was time to leave. The new timeline is the one where Lilith is no longer in exile. Where the wild, honest, seeking part of us gets a seat at the table and a voice in the conversation, and where we stop outsourcing our sense of meaning and truth to anyone or anything outside ourselves.
BML in Sagittarius asks us to become the sole authority of our own life philosophy. Under this New Moon, that is a seed worth planting with real intention.
You do not have to say it to everyone. But you do have to stop pretending you have not been carrying it.
Story Time: The Crossroads of the Mind
Imagine you have been walking a road for a long time. You know this road. You know where the stones are uneven and where the light changes in the afternoon, which bends are sharp and which are gentle. You have a name for everything on this road because you have passed it enough times to have memorised it, and naming it has felt like understanding it.
Then one morning you wake and the road splits in a way it has never split before. There is a fork you have no memory of, and standing at it is a version of you from a timeline you chose not to follow, and they are holding something out to you... a different map and a different way of narrating everything you have lived.
This is the energy of a Uranus-square-Nodal Axis moment inside a New Moon in Gemini. The crossroads is not external. It lives in our minds.. in our stories, in the way we describe ourselves, in the automatic thoughts that have been running like background code since before we were old enough to question them. The fork is between the mind that inherited its reality and the mind that is willing to receive a new one.
I feel this so personally right now, the places where I have been narrating my life from a very old script, and the moments when something newer and truer tries to push through. I think you know exactly what I mean.
The South Node in Virgo has been pulling us toward the familiar comfort of analysis and belief that if we just understand it precisely enough, categorize it finely enough and we will be safe. Virgo’s wisdom is real and necessary, and I honour it. But as a soul destination it reaches a limit, because the deepest truths cannot be managed, only received.
The North Node in Pisces is asking for something that Gemini’s shadow finds deeply uncomfortable: the willingness to not know and let the story be larger than the mind can currently hold. We are invited to trust the current even when you cannot see the riverbed. Pisces merges with reality rather than organizing it. It listens, dreams it, prays it, feels it as one continuous field rather than a collection of separate things to be sorted.
And here is the exquisite tension: Uranus is doing this rewiring from inside Gemini, from inside the domain of mind and language itself. So the mind cannot get out of this process by thinking harder. The breakthrough happens when Gemini’s gift is turned in a new direction, when the storytelling turns inward, when the questions asked are genuinely open rather than already half-answered, when the mind becomes the servant of the soul’s unfolding rather than its manager.
The Old Timeline: What Is Being Overridden
The old timeline running through this configuration is one most of us know intimately, because it has been the dominant story for a very long time, in us and in the collective: the belief that if you can think it clearly enough, explain it well enough, and organise it thoroughly enough, you will be secure.
It looks like the identity built around a particular story of who you are, ssembled from other people’s observations, inherited family roles, early wounding, and the mind’s relentless effort to create coherence from chaos. The version of yourself that speaks in the voice of the critic because the critic at least feels in control. The mental habit of rehearsing conversations, rerunning old scenes, strategising outcomes, because somewhere along the way the mind confused its busyness with its safety. The pattern of gathering more information in the hope that at some point you will have gathered enough to finally feel certain. The relationship with language that uses words to explain rather than to reveal and perform understanding rather than to genuinely inquire.
Uranus square the Nodes is pulling the thread on all of this. And because this is a square, a point of friction and turning, it is doing it with real pressure. Things that have been uncomfortable to ignore are becoming impossible to ignore. Our perceptions that felt stable are shifting, softening or cracking or transforming overnight. Plans change suddenly. Priorities reorganise themselves and what felt like solid ground in our mental story of our life is revealing itself as more fluid than we knew. This is the old timeline overriding itself. It has done its work, and it is completing.
The New Timeline: What Is Being Activated… The new timeline available at this New Moon is the one where the mind becomes a portal.
In evolutionary terms, Gemini at its highest expression is the channel - the one through whom greater intelligence speaks, and I feel deeply called to this right now. The sacred Messenger is always the one who has emptied themselves enough to carry something through and has learned to listen more than they perform.
Uranus in Gemini is activating exactly this: a new relationship with our minds where thinking becomes receptive rather than generative and where we understand thought as incoming as much as self-produced. We are called to see where language is treated as sacred material that creates reality rather than merely describes it, and so is used with more care, intention and wonder.
The new timeline is one where we speak differently and the story we tell about ourselves, about our lives, our wounds, gifts and path, changes. Where we stop repeating the old narrative by rote and start genuinely wondering what the story is, letting the answer arrive fresh rather than playing back a recording.
The North Node in Pisces completes this picture by asking the mind to bow to something larger. The new timeline is a surrendered mind, one that has developed enough trust in the field and soul, in something beyond the personal, to let itself be moved by intelligence it did not generate. This is where Gemini and Pisces, seemingly so different, meet: both mutable, porous, both conduits rather than containers. Gemini carries through language and thought. Pisces carries through feeling and prayer. The new timeline weaves both, and I feel that weaving becoming possible for us now in a way that it has not been before.
At this Supermoon, the seed being planted is a new mind. A new internal narrator. A new relationship with your own story that allows it to be rewritten from a deeper place than habit or fear.
How to Meet This New Moon
Speak your intention aloud. Gemini needs words, needs the voice and the vibration of language moving through the body. Write it and then say it. Let the mouth shape the new story, even if it feels unfamiliar, even if the old voice argues. One sentence spoken with genuine intention carries more power at this lunation than a journal full of analysis.
Ask a question you do not already have the answer to, and leave it open. Uranus loves this. The Nodes love this too. The Pisces North Node especially loves the willingness to not-know, because that openness is the door through which new timelines enter.
Notice which stories you tell automatically, especially the ones about yourself, and hold them gently up to the light. Ask whether they are true now, or whether they were true once and have simply never been updated. The mind that clings to an outdated story is not lying, it is just afraid. Offer it something better.
Let yourself be surprised by your own mind. At this Supermoon, under Uranus’ electric sky, the most evolutionary thing we can do is remain genuinely open to a thought we have never had before, a connection we have never made, a version of our story that is larger and stranger and more beautiful than the one we have been holding.
You are standing at the crossroads.. choose freedom.
Love always xx
