Let me tell you something about the Fire Horse. Fire Horse years are not polite, they do not negotiate with our hesitation…they move through the field like a living flame, instinctive, passionate, almost mythic in their intensity. If the Snake coiled inward, the Horse gallops forward, mane ablaze, heart pounding, daring you to keep up with your own becoming.

Today we meet a New Moon Annular Solar Eclipse at 28° Aquarius, the first eclipse of the season, and one of the most potent thresholds of the year. Eclipses are not ordinary lunations, in Evolutionary Astrology, they function as accelerators of destiny, bending time in subtle irreversible ways. They close chapters that have quietly expired, and open corridors that your personality might not have consciously chosen, yet your soul has been preparing for all along, my love.
In an annular solar eclipse, such as the one today, 17 February 2026, the Moon is positioned slightly farther from Earth in its orbit, which makes it appear smaller in the sky and unable to fully cover the Sun. Instead of total darkness, a luminous ring of sunlight remains visible around the Moon’s outline, creating the phenomenon often called the “ring of fire.”
Symbolically, this is the ego stepping aside so that a deeper directive can emerge. The psyche recalibrating its orientation toward the future, the moment where something larger than our usual habits intervenes.
And this eclipse carries the signature of the North Node and he North Node is not a comfort frequency, it is the evolutionary edge. And this eclipse forms a trine to my natal Pluto in Libra in the first house.
That trine feels like ancestral power rising to support myauthentic self-expression. My Libra Pluto in the first house has always been a deep initiation into personal sovereignty and understanding how power moves through identity and the way I inhabit my body. In Libra, it has been a lifelong exploration of relational dynamics, of harmony and intensity woven together.
With this Aquarian eclipse in my fifth house, trining that Pluto, I can feel an invitation to express myself more unapologetically, let mycreativity become a vehicle of transformation not only for others, but for my own identity. The trine is flow, supportive current. its my reminder that when I create from truth, I regenerate. There is something about allowing my visibility to become sacred rather than strategic and letting my joy itself be revolutionary :)
